 About Avijit Ghosh

Avijit Ghosh (b.1993) is a documentary photographer, and a visual storyteller based in Kolkata, India.


His work mostly focuses on the Socio-environmental impacts of climate change and humanitarian issues. Ghosh was born and brought up in a rural village of West Bengal and later, have migrated to a suburb of Kolkata to pursue a bachelor’s degree in arts and a diploma in Social Work as well as in Photography. In 2021, his long-term project The Land of Conflict won Joan Guerrero Photo Award and was Exhibited at Sant Pol Doc Festival.

He is currently represented by Agentur Focus and a member of Diversify Photo & Fairpicture
